We received these just in time to use them for our muzzleloader season. They patterned extremely well. We were able to harvest two deer with them. One approx 75 yards and the other about 110 yards. Neither deer went further than 50 yards and had phenomenal blood trails!

I shot every bullet made but I was never excited about my accuracy and limited my shooting accordingly. I was skeptical about Thors as well, but after watching the neighbor kid shooting consistent 3 “ (honest) groups at 100, I gave them a go.
This year I got my spike elk at 184 yards and mushroomed and dropped in yards. I was going to cut the barrel off my Knight Bighorn and use it for a Jack handle, but with Thors Iike it again.

If you want to shoot accurately, these are the bullets to have.

My optima v2 LR ended up between the .501 and the .502, origionally ordered the .501s, gained 240fps, but also went from a 340gr to the 250 thor hammer, ordering .502s to see if i get a larger fps difference.

First off i jumped the gun and just baught a pack of .499. Then I realized that you had a sizing pack after I saw they was too small. I sure wished I would have ordered the sizing pack first. Anyone who is thinking of getting the thor bullets needs to get the sizing pack first. Will save you money in the long run. I will be ordering the right size for my gun before next hunting season. I love these bullets they are the only ones legal in Oregon. I unloaded my elk round into 4 kitty litter jugs filled with water it was a perfect mushroom incredible. they are also extremely accurate and I can tell that the bases are sealing because they have a little more kick to them than a regular lead bullet. 247 For deer 297 For elk.

Excellent customer service, superior product

Here I am on here getting ready to buy more bullets and I just realized that I never updated since my last post in 2022... Let me fix that.

First, let me say that I love these bullets. From the name to the function they are great! Since 2022 I have put down 6 deer with these and while I love standard rifle season, I look forward to muzzleloader season where I break out my blackpowder and do most (almost all) of my tag filling.

From year to year I never doubt the accuracy and reliability of ThorBullets and last season at the tail end of the season, they did the job at 100 yards on my biggest buck to date. A nice 8 point that helped me ring in the New Year with a bang. (pictured below)

the year before that, 2023, I was blown away by the effectiveness of the bullets when I shot a young doe and when I flipped it over, I (kid you not) saw part of its lung that pushed out the exit hole. Needless to say, it didn't run far.

The expansion on these are all you could ask for and pictured below is a round that I found after a hard quarter towards shot that went shoulder to (just in front of) the ham on a doe and was found just under the hide.

From accuracy, to reliability (have shot through 2-3 boxes lining in, shooting deer, and just shooting (cause its fun) and have found no noticeable difference in how they shoot/perform. They are also easy to reload shot after shot, giving me easy opportunities for doubling up (which I have done twice now with these).

As long as they keep making these, I am going to be a customer, and if you are reading this, I encourage you to give them a try as well.

Started shooting these bullets this year and just recently took a whitetail deer at 190 yards. I am impressed with their accuracy. I struggled to find bullets that will shoot a good group using magnum charge of 150 grains of black powder but these do. Definitely be using these from now on. I’m talking rifle like accuracy. Complete pass through on a whitetail at 190 yards with a large wound channel. What more can you ask for.

I started using solid copper bullets about four years ago.In my center fire rifles, I was so stoked.When I found them from my muzzle loader.

I had an opportunity last year in my muzzleloader elk hunt to get a shot at a nice five point bull, i caught him in his bed, but by the time I got out of the truck.He had stood up and stepped into the timber after a short stalk.I was sixty yards from him with a nice clean broadside, shot. I set the trigger and took aim touched it off and it went click. The cap had fallen off and no I had taken this bare caps out of my stock cap box.

When I got home, I unloaded that bullet, a one hundred ninety seven grain Thor into five kitty, litter jugs filled with water.It went completely through three and almost into the fourth there was a mark on the back of the third jug.The expansion was perfect.All of the pedals were exactly the same and it was beautiful.I can only imagine what it would have done to that.ElkI'm sure I wouldn't have had to track him.

I wish you made the same bullet for my fifty four caliber.As is the only copper bullet legal in oregon to hunt with.

These bullets shoot an awesome group.
And I love the way the base expands out into the grooves and seals off the gas, they push noticeably harder than a.Solid lead bullet because of that seal, and i'm sure they're going faster. Keep up the good work you're helping make humane kills a real thing.

I was shooting good groups with lead conicals out to 50 yards but struggled so much at 100 that I was going to sell my rifle and try something different. My rifle is a black diamond xr and it is made to shoot sabots which aren't legal in Oregon. After trying a few different conicals at different weights and manufacturers and different loads I was still struggling. When I started using the Thors I was able to get good groups out to 100 yards. Shot a deer a few days ago with a .501 297 grain hammer with 80 grains triple 7 ffg and it went in and exited out the other side and knocked it down immediately. Honestly I'd prefer to shoot something cheaper but I tried a lot of different combinations and this one worked the best for me.
